Becca's Birthday Clean Up

Aunt Becca turned the big 3-0 this year & instead of having a room make over she chose to have their landscaping redone. Yep, pulled out a TON of bushes, hauled out rock, laid more weed guard & hauled in clean rock. Turned out to be a beautiful day for it, so while the adults worked the kids were at play, here are some fun pics Happy Birthday Aunt Becca!

Of course Brie had to meet her snuggle quota with David!

Keegan starting out with some Hot Wheels fun

Brie & Kyla with the rocket launcher - Up it goes!

Well what can I say - so I won't. You'll notice Brie wearing a sling, she had surgery just the day before to remove yet another stubborn cyst on her wrist, this time it was impeding her ability to write, it being on her left hand.

Evie & her bubbles!!!

Mike, Dad, & Andrew - this trailer made many trips that day & we still didn't get it all hauled off before the brush site closed.

Noah's turn to keep the bubbles flying... a biggest bubble contest ensued with Brie as the winner (shocker!)
Conner's turn, forgot how much fun bubbles can be! Kept the pack busy for almost an hour!

Participants of a rousing game of Marco Polo....

Lily chillin on the swings...

Evie peeking to make sure everyone was still there, she wasn't a single second of the action!

The project started promptly at 8am, so seeing Dain stroll in at this early hour demanded documenting!

Slip-n-Slide time - Lily loved being dragged down this thing by her big cousin Brie!

Thanks to G'ma & her makeshift waterproofing, Brie was able to take a turn as well!

Go Carter!

Where Carter goes, Conner follows!

Look out Noah!

Kyla LOVED slip-n-sliding, was not a pretty sight when we turned the water off about an hour & a half later....

From left to right, Conner, Carter, Dain holding David, Noah, Lily, Brie, Genevieve, Kyla, & Keegan!

The whole crew, the goal wasn't even to get smiles for this, by the end of the day we settled with everyone facing forward! What a circus, the neighborhood had to be on the floor with side splitting laughter at us trying to get this gang to cooperate. Love each & everyone one of them to pieces!

2011 Milacs Camp!

I would say this was the 2nd Annual Milacs Camp Out, this year our group grew to include: the Steele's, Reese's, Schueler's, Jagow's, and the Klatt's! It was a whirlwind and went by WAY too fast, could have used another day, maybe next year! Thanks to everyone for great conversations, food, and more awesome memories!!!!

Nana, Mommy, Brie, Conner, Sarah, Seth, Em, Ayden, Aubrey, & Abram made a Saturday morning trek to Paul Bunyan land......

Brienna, Ayden, Seth, Aubrey, Conner & of course Mr. Paul Bunyan himself! Unfortunately Abram was not a fan of this enormous man, sheer terror describes it best...

An opportunity to climb on something, these monkey's couldn't pass it up!

Who wouldn't want to break these kiddos out of jail!

The Frog Hopper, it had a great start, the kids all seemly are excited for this ride to start.......

Not so much! Abram you get an A+ for effort! Can you hear the giggles?

Merry go-round, a classic!

This ride never gets old -right Brie?

Girls versus...

The boys..... no one wanted to get off and instead they went back to back on this ride at least twice! Gotta love the tilt-a-whirl!

This little guy could have stayed in this swing all day long! One of my fav's too buddy!

Ayden after back to back tilt-a-whirl rides made it through the swings but his tummy took over after that, end of the crazy rides for him, felt so bad he didn't feel well. Found some much calmer rides for him the rest of the day!

This cutie pie was made to fly like Conner, she too had to be peeled from the swings!

Time for some airplane fun!

Pilot Ayden

Bombardier Conner!

Best buddies, where one goes the other follows, these two are the dare devils of the family!

Mommy & Conner taking on Auntie Em, Brienna & Seth.... I think everyone is a winner in bumper cars!

Brie & Seth take a stab on this contraption, this one would make MY tummy unhappy!

A great view from up there!

The elders for the day, so much fun for all ages! I would peg these two as the explorers of the bunch.

Train ride with Nana!

My two little "nuts" - oh the smiles you bestow!

Boat time, of course who gets in trouble for putting their hands in the water, yep our Conner!

Conner's favorite way to canoe - no paddles!

Can you tell how much he looks up to his cousin Seth!

Back at the campground the ingenuity & resourcefulness of the kids produced makeshift boats that they played with on the little river flowing through the sites. I would give this project an A++

The intelligent inventors!

Oh the many wonders Conner pulled from his "pack pack." When he was little he called it a "pack pack" instead of back pack, precious memory for us....

Cool as a cucumber Seth on the roller coaster ride!

The "green" couple - they were caught coordinating several times (at least twice in green)!

Hey - we needed firewood! Actually they cut down this old tree as a thank you for letting us stay there!

Water balloons,

Games,

more water balloons,

and even more games.....

Ryan, Ashley, Uncle Don, & Papa kicking back!

Oh and more games!!!!

Seth expertly grilling the hot dogs!

What your missing is the event of the weekend, a surprise 40th birthday party for Sarah!!!! Not sure where the camera was for this super fun occaision but nonetheless we wish her a very Happy Birthday and wishes for many many more years of amazing memories, great health, & infinite giggles! Love you so much Auntie Sarah!!!!!
